Black Coffee – Take One
I have never been one that can sit down and write and album review. To me, either a band and their record are worth telling people about or they aren’t. It’s all or nothing. You can add words like big guitars, modern, great vocals, high energy, blah blah blah and it means nothing. If you are a kick ass Rock n Roll band I should expect all those things are a given. In an industry where bands are no longer broken at your favorite radio station, it takes the words of those who recognize good music when they hear it. And dammit I hear it in this band.
So my friends I bring you one in your face Rock n Roll band, and they go by the name of Black Coffee. This 3 piece brings it with the best of ’em. Check out their debut Take One. You won’t be disappointed. 9 Tracks and I assure you that you will love these guys.
